Training Information

This is 2-day recertification course for members with previous welding certifications. Members must have been previously certified in one or more of the following:

AWS D1.5 1G, 3G, and/or 4G at 3/4" or 1" Unlimited

AWS D1.3

AWS D1.1 1G, 3G, and/or 4G at 3/4" or 1" Unlimited

Friday is a MANDATORY practice session. Saturday is the test day. You must bring one check for each test as a $100 deposit is required for each test attempted. The check will only be cashed if you fail the test.

Equipment Required

Members attending training must provide their own safety shoes, safety goggles, gloves, ear protection and hard hats. Failure to provide your own safety equipment may result in your being dropped from a particular training session.

Attendance Requirements

Attendance at the first training session is mandatory. 100% attendance is required for all courses that issue Certificates or Qualifications and Apprentice mandatory training. Please be on time! Late arrivals (and early departures) are disruptive to instructors and participants. Poor attendance / disruptive behavior will result in your being dropped from a particular training session.

Cancellation Policy

To maximize the effectiveness of our training sessions, we limit the number of attendees. If you are registered for a specific training and need to cancel, please notify us five (5) business days before the start of scheduled training. Failure to notify us of cancellation may result in your being denied registration for future training. We reserve the right to cancel any course - with five (5) business days’ notice - for which there is an insufficient number of registered attendees. Registrants may then enroll in the next available offering of the course, or cancel the registration.
